The word digital comes from the Latin digitus. It is used to mean a digit or a numeral.
Binary numbers have only two values - 0 or 1, yes or no, it is or it is not.
In binary, five digits can express 2^5 = 32 values, integers from 0 to 31
Anglické slovo digit pochází z latinského digitus. Používá se ve významu prst nebo číslice.
Binární číslice mají jen dvě hodnoty – 0 a 1, ano a ne, je a není.
Pomocí pěti prstů lze binárně vyjádřit 2^5 = 32 hodnot, celá čísla od 0 do 31.
